Antizionism is antisemitism when the only state that is criticized is Israel.

Where is Mr. McKinney's “serious humanitarian concern” for the hundreds of thousands killed in Yemen? Where is this concern for the hundreds of thousands killed in Syria's civil war? Where is this concern for the 1.7 million Afghan seekers of refuge that Pakistan is driving back into Afghanistan?

Where is this concern for the innocent Russians killed by the Ukranians, or the other way around?

Where is the concern about the persecution and rape of Christians by Muslims wherever they have power, or even think they can get away with it (it happens throughout Europe as well)?

What about the 800-1000 killed between November 4-6 by Sudanese Arab militias in the Ardamata refugee camp in Darfur, just to pick a recent tragedy?

Where is the concern about the Jews effectively banned from most of the Arab world, after having been thrown out of places they had been for centuries, some of which they had called home since before the rise of Islam?

There are already twenty secular Muslim majority countries, and twenty more with Islam as the state religion. Instead of suggesting that the world's 1.6 billion Muslims find a home for the two million Jew-haters in Gaza and three more under Palestinian Authority rule, maybe just in the 2.8 million square miles of the Middle East, probably double that for the Greater Middle East (compared to Israel's 8000 square miles), he suggests that democracy will somehow restore humanity.

Maybe Mr. McKinney should be reminded of the Arab votes so far in the Palestinian Authority and Gaza: one person, one vote, one time. Where is the thriving democracy in those two enclaves? Integrated with Israel, that pattern would repeat, to the complete destruction of the Jewish people.

Maybe Mr. McKinney should be reminded that the “humanity” he is appealing to just butchered 1200 Israeli citizens (what we thought were 1400 were just so many dismembered humans that we thought it was 200 more, but we are honest about our numbers), that that “humanity” engages in thousands of terrorist attacks every year, that that “humanity” has promised that it will commit as many October 7 type attacks as necessary to wipe out the Jew, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, and then follow to the rest of the world.

But he'd rather try to line up the Blacks and American Indians and anyone else he can talk into a simplistic anything is justified by the “oppressed” narrative against the Jews.

When your “serious humanitarian concern” only arises when you can cast the Jew as oppressor, and your solution is one that would rob him of the only safe place for a Jew on this planet, then you are indeed an antisemite, and any protestation otherwise is a farce.
